How to download Landsat Image.
Click http://earthexplorer.usgs.gov/
USGS data were arranged in Path and Row, to avoid confusion for beginners you can
search by place for example notable city, country (e. g Akure, Nigeria), then
click on SHOW, note if you have the path and row of the specified data you
don’t need to search by place, just click on the path/Row icon and click show.
After the display
of the coordinates (lon 05 47, lat 06 35 E) click on DATASET tab , then list of
satellite Dataset will be displayed from
From these you can choose your required data, if it is
Landsat image, you click on landsat archive drop down list, check the box OF
Data you need, if it is Elevation data, check on Elevation drop downlist,
etc
Click RESULT tab. List of Data will be displayed
Click on GEOTIFF
